Hi everyone! My name is Melanie (or Mel for short, whichever you prefer) and I'm a rising junior at the Bronx High School of Science. I am also part of the research program at Bronx Science, and I am currently being mentored by Maleha Mahmud at the Lahti Lab at Queens College. My interests (if you couldn't tell from this blog) are animal behavior and ecology research. Send me an email if you have any questions or concerns, or if you just want to chat about science :)

Hey guys! My name is Allie and I am a rising senior at the Bronx High School of Science. Currently, I am part of Bronx Science's biology research program, and I have been working under Dr. Seth Berger at the Children's National Hospital in Washington DC, studying mosaicism and rare genetic disorders. In addition to science, I also love animals, and have been a volunteer for the school's Animal Squad since my sophomore year of high school. :) I am excited to be part of the team and I look forward to meeting everyone!
